Named after Everests towering neighbor, our original Nuptse products from the 1990s were the first to use an innovative panel construction that minimized down shifting, providing long-lasting warmth for the wearer. The 1996 Retro Nuptse Vest is a modern reincarnation of this icon. Weve kept most of the details the same: the same boxy fit, the same shiny ripstop fabric, the same diagonal exposed-zip hand pockets, and, of course, the same oversized panels. The only changes are the responsibly sourced 700 fill down insulation and water-repellent finish. The hood stows into the collar, and the entire vest packs into its own right-hand pocket. Plus, recycled materials make this vest a nature-friendly choice.
